Growing and Maintenance: Treat birds once a week by top dressing BIRD BENE-BAC™ Powder on moistened or oiled dry food or fresh fruits or vegetables. Use table above as a guideline for amount to feed up to a maximum of one (1) teaspoon per treatment. Discard uneaten food after no more than eight (8) hours and thoroughly wash dishes.
Changing Conditions: Use the quantities indicated for growing and maintenance, but provide two (2) feedings, three (3) days apart, before and after periods of environmental or nutritional changes. If the bird is anorexic, consult a veterinarian.
General Information: If several birds are maintained in a common cage or flyway, use the approximate total weight of all birds to determine the feeding level. Mix with the feed so that all of the birds receive the appropriate dose.
For large ratites, use one (1) teaspoon for growing birds and two (2) teaspoons for mature stock. Follow the frequency directions indicated above. One (1) level teaspoon equals approximately 2.7 g of BIRD BENE-BAC™ Powder.
Wash all feeding dishes, water bottles, or water dishes thoroughly with hot, soapy water and rinse well after each use.
Reptiles should be provided BIRD BENE-BAC™ Powder on the same weight basis as birds.
Be sure to contact a veterinarian for any illness.
Precaution(s): Store in cool, dry conditions.
