Extended Information: Directions for Feeding Esbilac Liquid: Esbilac Liquid may be fed at a daily rate of 2 tablespoons (30 mL) per 4 ounces (115 g, 1/4 lb.) of body weight. Small and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3-4 hours. Larger and/or older puppies can do well being fed every 8 hours. Divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding. The amount required should be increased or decreased to meet the individual requirements for each puppy. Weigh the puppies daily to assure that they are receiving adequate Esbilac. Consult your veterinarian for advice. Esbilac should be fed at body or room temperature. Pregnant and lactating bitches: Mix into the daily ration at the rate of 2 tablespoons (30 mL) per 5 lbs. (2.2 kg) body weight daily until 2 weeks after whelping. Growing puppies, show dogs, supplementing large litters or old or convalescing dogs: Esbilac is a highly digestible source of nutrients. Mix Esbilac into the daily ration at the rate of 1 tablespoon (15 mL) per 5 lbs. (2.2 kg) body weight daily. Storage: Shake well. Refrigerate after opening. Discard after 72 hours. Do not freeze in original container.
