All puppies should receive their mother’s milk for at least 2 days, if possible. The colostrum in mother’s milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases. • Measuring scoop included. • Economical powder form. • Please choose 12 oz., 28 oz. or 5 lb. Extended Information: Directions for Mixing Esbilac Powder: Gently stir or shake 1 part powedered Esbilac into 2 parts warm water (a part is a teaspoon, tablespoon or cup). Do not mix more Esbilac that can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use blender. Reconstituted Esbilac should be kept refrigerated. Directions for Feeding Esbilac Powder: Warm reconstituted Esbilac to room or body temperature. Feed puppies 2 tablespoons per 4 ounces of body weight daily. Small and/or weak puppies should be fed every 3-4 hours. Larger and/or older puppies can do well being fed every 8 hours. Divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding. The amount required should be increased or decreased to meet the individual requirements for each puppy. Weigh the puppies 3 times a week to assure that they are receiving adequate Esbilac. Pregnant and lactating bitches: Feed 2 teaspoons Esbilac Powder per 5 lbs. body weight daily until 2 weeks after whelping. Storage: Reconstituted Esbilac may be refrigerated up to 24 hours. Open powder must be refrigerated for up to 3 months, or can be frozen for up to 6 months.
