ENCEPHALOMYELITIS VACCINE

EASTERN, WESTERN & VENEZUELAN, KILLED VIRUS

TETANUS TOXOID

A formaldehyde inactivated, adjuvanted polyvalent equine vaccine-toxoid consisting of Eastern, Western and Venezuelan Equine Encephalomyelitis viruses and purified Tetanus Toxoid. For vaccination of healthy horses, 6 months of age or older, against Eastern, Western and Venezuelan Equine Encephalomyelitis and Tetanus.

DOSE: For primary immunization, aseptically inject 1 mL intramuscularly and repeat the dose in 3 to 4 weeks. A 1 mL dose should be administered annually and at any time epidemic conditions exist or are reported and exposure is imminent.

CAUTION: Store at 35° to 45° F (2° to 7° C). Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened (10 doses). Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Local reactions may occur if this product is given subcutaneously. Inject deep into the muscle only. Injury should be followed by a booster dose of vaccine containing Tetanus Toxoid. Consult your veterinarian regarding indications and precautions for the use of tetanus antitoxin. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur.

CAUTION: Needle is sharp and may cause injury to self or animals if not handled properly or disposed of properly.

ANTIDOTE: Epinephrine.

Neomycin, polymyxin B and nystatin added as preservatives.
