ENDOSERUM® is recommended for attenuating the effects of Salmonella typhimurium and Escherichia coli in equids when administered prior to challenge. It increases the circulating levels of IgG(t) anti-endotoxin antibodies. It is also recommended for increasing the total IgG levels of FPT foals in properly calculated doses. Contains total IgG levels of 3,000 mg/dl For the treatment of endotoxemia: Administer intravenously 0.7 mL per pound (1.5 mL/kg) of body weight. For the treatment of foal IgG deficit: For a 70 lb. foal with a 200 mg/dl IgG deficit, administer 500 mL. Always dilute with an equal or larger volume of sterile physiological saline or lactated ringer's solution. Warm to room temperature. Administration should not be completed in less than 30 minutes.
