Extended Information:
The Choice of Horsemen Who Know Accel® is a balanced daily supplement of the full spectrum of essential nutrients for all types of horses. Accel®’s unusually comprehensive formula provides a foundation for optimum health - what all equine athletes need to perform at their best. Many of America’s top trainers and riders rely on Accel®every day to get the most out of their horses’ training and performance. Accel® is also the choice of many successful breeding farms, equine rescue organizations and veterinary clinics. Accel®’s formula supplies all of the recognized water and fat soluble vitamins, including many that are missing in most other supplements, for well-rounded support of the vitamin needs of most horses.
Trace & Macro Minerals Most equine researchers now point to dietary mineral levels and balance as a key factor for successful breeding, sound growth, and good health in mature horses. The inadequate levels of trace minerals in much of today’s hay and grain have led many experts to recommend balanced supplementation. Proper balance is crucial to ensure proper absorption and utilization of minerals in the horse’s body. Accel®delivers zinc and copper in the recommended 3 to 1 ratio, plus iron, manganese and cobalt, all in chelated form. Chelation encourages more rapid and more complete absorption. The more readily absorbed trace minerals, selenium and iodine, are supplied in quality conventional forms. Accel®also supplies five macro minerals to help balance and fortify your basic feeding program. Calcium and phosphorus are supplemented in the ideal 1.4 to 1 ratio, along with magnesium, potassium and sulfur.
Amino Acids Accel®contains fourteen amino acids, the building blocks of protein. If any one of the essential amino acids is deficient in the diet, the process of protein building is cut short. Accel®’s generous supply of lysine and methionine, the two essential amino acids most often lacking in equine diets, helps keep the "limiting amino acid principle" from limiting your training success. Accel®also supplies high levels of the branched chain amino acids, valine, leucine, and isoleucine, which are important to cellular energy release.
Enzymes & Microbial Cultures The horse’s digestive system works best when grazing a light, steady flow of food, the way Nature intended. Stall feeding results in incomplete digestion and substantial waste. Accel®fortifies the digestive tract with four digestive enzymes, plus a seven culture direct-fed microbial complex. These beneficial micro-organisms are compatible with equine digestive systems.
Synergy There’s even more to Accel®than the sum of its 47 nutrients, seven direct-fed microbial cultures, and active yeast culture. It’s nutritional synergy, the reinforcing interaction of balanced nutrients that promotes optimum overall health - the beginning of peak performance. To see what optimum nutrition can do for your horse’s health and performance, start with a solid foundation - start with Vita Flex Accel®.
