Coccidiostat for Calves
As an aid in the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zurnii in calves.
Amprolium 5.675 mg/lb.
Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Wheat Midds, Calcium Carbonate, Soybean Oil, Lignin Sulfate, Artificial and/or Natural Flavor.
Protein: not less than 12.0%
Fat: not less than 1.5%
Fiber: not more than 22.0%
Feed this feed as the sole source of amprolium to calves. Feed the
proper amount of Corid 1.25% with the ration that will be consumed each
21 Day Prevention:
Feed in complete feed or top dress at the rate of 227 mg amprolium
per 100 lbs. (5 ml/kg) daily for 21 days. Feed in at least one pound of
feed per head per day.

For a group of animals, use the total body weight of the group to arrive at the proper amount of feed required.
5 Day Treatment:
Feed in complete or top dress at the rate of 454 mg amprolium per
100 lbs. body weight (10 mg/kg) daily for 5 days. Feed in at least one
pound of feed per head per day. Use on a herd basis only: when one or
more calves show signs of coccidiosis, it is likely the rest of the
group has been exposed, and all calves in the group should be treated.
Withdraw 24 hours before slaughter. Use as the sole source of
Amprolium. A withdrawal period has not been established for this
product in preruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed
