Staphylococcus Aureus Bacterin

Composition: A lysed culture of
highly antigenic polyvalent somatic antigen containing phage types I,
II, III, IV and miscellaneous groups of Staphylococcus aureus.
Indications: Recommended for the vaccination of healthy, susceptible cattle as an aid in the prevention of mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus.
Dosage and Administration: Using
aseptic technique, inject 5 mL intramuscularly. Repeat in 14 days.
Follow with a single 5 mL booster dose each 5 to 6 months. Start
vaccinating all heifers at 6 months of age.
Precaution(s): Store out of direct
sunlight at a temperature between 35-45°F (2-7°C). Avoid freezing. Shake
well before using. Use entire contents when first opened.
Caution(s): Anaphylactoid reactions may occur.
Warning(s): Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
