Clostridium Perfringens Type C-Escherichia Coli Bacterin-Toxoid
For use in healthy pregnant swine as an aid in the prevention of colibacillosis and enterotoxemia in their nursing piglets. A purified, adjuvanted product containing four major E. coli antigens (K88, K99, F41 and 987P) and C. perfringens type C toxoid.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS: When used alone shake well and administer one 2 mL dose intramuscularly or subcutaneously to healthy pregnant swine at 5 weeks and again at 1-2 weeks before farrowing. In subsequent farrowings, administer one dose 2 weeks before farrowing. When packaged with ProSystem® Rota or ProSystem® TGE/Rota refer to insert for full directions.
CAUTION: Store in the dark at not over 45°F (7°C). Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened; do not save partial contents. Use only in healthy pregnant swine. Do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter. If allergic reaction occurs, treat with epinephrine. Contains thimerosal and polymyxin B as preservatives.
